dank meines verliebten Papas bist du in mein/unser Leben getreten. Mir geht das Herz auf, wenn ich euch beide beobachte, wie ihr zwei eure individuellen Talente so wunderbar ergänzt: die Liebe zum Schreiben, das feinsinnige Politisieren, der gemeinsame Humor, die Leichtigkeit des Seins und die wohltuende Großzügigkeit, mit der ihr euch gegenseitig immer wieder neu ansteckt, die Liebe zum Fesch-Rausputzen und auf Bällen das Tanzbein schwingen, auf welchen ihr dann Papas Foxtrott in allen Variationen ausgiebig zum Besten gebt.

Genießen, das könnt ihr zwei in vollen Zügen und es macht wahre Freude, euch dabei zuzusehen. Unglaublich, wie du den Routine-verliebten Scheps immer wieder für neue Abenteuer begeistern kannst. Ich denke da mit vollem Herz an die Reise, die du ihm zum 60. Geburtstag bis ins kleinste, feine und liebevolle Detail geplant und kuratiert hast. Dass du eine wunderbare Frau an der Seite meines Vaters bist, ist aber nur eine der vielen Grossartigen–Gabi–Gaben, die ich so sehr an dir schätze. 60 Jahre Gabi, was für ein Geschenk!

Ich kenne keine andere Person, die sich so sehr ins Zeug legt, um ihren Liebsten Gutes zu tun. Du bist so unglaublich aufmerksam und bemüht um jeden einzelnen, der dir am Herzen liegt. Und deine Familie steht da ganz deutlich weit vorne auf der Beliebtheitsliste.

Wie schön, dass ich mich hier dazu zählen darf! Zu Weihnachten gipfelt deine Hingabe für uns in den minutiös gestalteten eigenen (!!) Menükarten für das famose Abendessen, bei welchem es nicht ‚nur‘ ein grandioses vier Gang Menü gibt, nein, es gibt gleich zwei zur Auswahl. Neben deinem Titel als Grafikmeisterin, bist du ebenso eine atemberaubende Glasurmeisterin: Die zwei Geburtstagstorten mit sicherlich stundenlang gestalteten Fondant-Glasuren für die Dani und Valerie haben mich im awwww zergehen lassen.
